    Chamber News - April 2018

    We have staff!

After a few weeks of having an unstaffed office during an employee transition, the Chamber Office is now open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. The Chamber is excited to be hiring 2 part-time Administrators as well which will help to have extended office hours during the summer starting in June.

    New Membership Software

One of the biggest projects for the Chamber Board for the last few months was instituting a new membership software program. We went with Wild

Apricot which gave us good features for a great price. This new software will help tremendously to keep track of our member's information as well as a consistent membership renewal process. With new things comes new challenges so we appreciate your patience with us if we call asking for information that may have been lost or that may need updated. In the end, it will all be worth it and more accurate! It will also allow for members to sign in to their own account to update information and access special content. More information on that is to come.

    New Website

A feature of Wild Apricot was a website that streamlined many process for us. The new website has been launched with all of our current information but we will still be updating it frequently to provide the best user experience possible. We also have a new website address, www.knoxvilleiachamber.com. If you see information that appears to be wrong, please don't hesitate to let us know!

    New Email Addresses

I guess you could say we are going through a technology overhaul at the moment... since our website has changed, so have our email addresses. You can always reach me (Hannah) at director@knoxvilleiachamber.com or our generic email we give to the public is info@knoxvilleiachamber.com.

    Chamber Logo

    The current board

felt strongly about getting started on fresh footing which led to the decision of a rebrand of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. In March at our Annual Meeting, we unveiled our new logo and brand. This will be the identity leading the way of the Chamber moving forward. For more details and information explaining the brand, click here.
