POSTPONED - Marion County Employers' Council of Iowa Meeting

Join Marion County ECI for a meeting at the Pella Golf & Country Club on March 26 to learn about empowering your community. Featuring two speakers from Iowa Economic Development Authority and Future Ready Iowa, this meeting will teach you how you can get involved to offer firsthand insight for your business and community.

During the meeting you will learn about:

• Empower Rural Iowa's three task forces and how to get involved
• Future Ready Iowa's goals and funding opportunities to build Iowa's talent pipeline through training and education programs

You will hear from Liesl Seabert with Iowa Economic Development Authority and Kathy Leggett, Future Ready Iowa Policy Advisor. Liesl and Kathy will be on hand to discuss their state initiatives and tools available for rural employers. 

There is no cost to attend the meeting, but an RSVP is preferred. A soup and salad bar lunch will be available for $12 per person.
